Welcome To Peninsula Singers

OUR MISSION:

The mission of Peninsula Singers is to perform the world's greatest choral music, which provides nourishment to the listeners and the performers.  The group also provides an outlet for continuing musical/vocal activity to those trained in choral singing so that the promise of lifelong musical involvement is a cultural reality.  Peninsula Singers is not a typical performing music group.  We perform music that varies from art and folk songs, to classical and musical theatre and seek to expose as many people as possible to these forms of music.

Peninsula Singers believes that music and fine arts can enrich people's lives and strengthen community bonds.  Peninsula Singers is dedicated to ensuring that chamber music, in its broadest sense, is a vital part of life here on the Olympic Peninsula and to promote artistic excellence in our local communities.  Our membership is 40-50 strong and originates from Port Townsend, Sequim and Port Angeles, Washington.  In our twenty years of existence, Peninsula Singers has flourished into a multifaceted enterprise that annually reaches audiences of more than 1000. Our concerts create a cultural experience that bring people out into the community to enjoy our choral music and support the local economy.
